I had a wonderful stay at this Ryokan. The rooms were lovely with a big and comfortable bed, a high tech Japanese toilet, and a traditional wooden hot bath that made me feel right at home. The service was kind and friendly, although I did find the pricing a bit on the high side for what was offered. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to bus and train lines and being within walking distance of Nishiki markets and Gion. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the personalized tea ceremony and the traditional dress, even though the baby appropriate dinnerware was a nice touch. The facilities were well equipped. Overall, a charming and cozy place to stay in the Kyoto area.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were a bit hit and miss, with a variety of features from hi-tech Japanese toilets to traditional wooden hot baths. While being the biggest, that didn't always translate to nicest. The service, on the other hand, was consistently kind and friendly, making me feel well taken care of. The location was convenient for exploring with easy access to bus and train lines, though it could feel a bit like being in a host family at times. Dining options ranged from enjoying local jams to communal onsens, providing a unique experience. Overall, the facilities were good, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.

My stay at the Ryokan was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was big, which was good, but it didn't quite match the overall Ryokan's charm. The staff was kind and provided excellent service, but the high price was a bit hard to justify for what was offered. The location was convenient, close to popular markets and attractions, although it felt a bit like staying with a host family. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially with the option of having grilled meats in-room, yet the price was on the higher side. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
